Hi HANA Gurus
I'm quite new to the HANA environment, please forgive if my questions are not worded in the correct context.
We have a project which is moving from a SAP Standard scenario to a more custom build scenario on HANA.
Other business units will start to make use of the functionality once this model is live and proven.
So I have a few questions in this regard.
In terms of Table Design I would assume we use Tables as designed and named in the SAP Standard environment CRM/ECC.
It does not make sense to me to redesign or rename these Tables as this means all users from the Standard environment would need to refamiliarise themself with these adjustments.
We will be generating transactional information, any changes to these would need change history, is there standard change history mechanisms which can be used in HANA?
We would need to attach documents, typically scanned documents (.pdf) to these transactions, I'd assume HANA is the wrong place for this to be stored, rather a Content Management Server should be used?
Then there are endless date driven actions required. At X Days after this action is required (an email or letter to be sent) how can these type of automated actions be triggered.
If we were using SAP Standard CRM/ECC we could use Actions to manage this, how can this be done on HANA? Also can letters and emails be generated from HANA?
Typically in the SAP CRM environment GUID's are used on the tables, is the same concept used in HANA and how would this be generated?
