Hi Lukas,
Since there is no details of your report, therefore, i assumed you used the Inner join/Join data source.
And some reasons for causing this issue might related to the datatype inconsistent btw the fields.
Since this will lead to the time out in the backend.
Please check it your side whether, if all is consistent, please report to the sap support.
