We are using the HR Renewal 2.0 UI5 based ESS/MSS applications.
We would like to restrict the dates in which the employee can request for a Leave in the past and future dated.
For Each Leave type Under Process Processes, We have the option for the same under the below options.
Start Date in the past.
Start Date is current day
Start Date in the future
Our requirement is to restrict the employees to apply for the Leaves in the past for 2 Months of Period and in future for 3 months of period.
He should not be allowed to request for the Leave beyond these date limits.
Will these settings as attached in the screen shot will control this while the user is requesting for the Leave using the ESS application?.
(OR)
The restriction check will happen only at the time of posting and not while the user is requesting for the Leave using ESS?
To meet the requirement, do we need to implement the BADI and put the check for the Past and future dated Leave requests for ESS applications?.
Please clarify on the same.
